Is there a way I can offer payment options on a limited quantity?

In my case I'm selling seats in a physical children's class and would like pay in full or split pay options.

I tried using inventory but it's per price and I don't know in advance how many parents will need the split pay option vs. be able to pay full price at one time.

Also, the recurring payment doesn't have any special different look from the one time in the product details page here.

I've also considered a temporary work around of collecting a booking fee with a one time inventory price then doing one time charge(s) later in workflows for the remaining balance. I was significantly slowed down trying to figure out how to get 'customer stripe id' in there and it looks like I'll need a paid 3rd party action just to pull that in and save it on the contact. Disappointed as we're directly connected to Stripe and ideally GHL would just know.

I tried using calendar payments too and it wasn't quite there but was the closest!

Because all the other methods end up looking pretty crazy on the end consumer side, I'm now looking at using a custom payment form and creating a quantity field in a custom object (Classes) to keep track of how many seats are taken.

Is there a better way or a nice solution to any way of doing this coming soon enough that I should wait instead of hacking some crazy thing together?
